# 新西兰发护照的部门裁员了

今年新西兰政府裁员的消息虽然已经在减少，但是这个进程似乎一直在持续。

昨日传出内政部重组方案，在去年已经减员的基础上，继续压缩。

新西兰内政部（Department of Internal Affairs，DIA）的工作范围涵盖多个重要公共服务，包括：**护照发放、出生/死亡/婚姻登记、监管赌博合法性、为政府部门提供IT安全服务**等等。

昨天，该部门宣布了重组方案，**裁减180个职位，同时创建116个新岗位，整体减少64个岗位**。

69份原定于9月到期的固定合同将不会续签。

员工可在4月15日前提供反馈，最终决定将在6月初公布。去年，由于政府推行成本节约目标，**内政部已裁撤了数百个职位**，同时多个重大项目（如水资源改革）被终止。

**在2017年至2023年间，新西兰公职人员数量增长了34%**。

面对经济挑战，政府“瘦身”的道路还依然艰辛而漫长。
