# 新西兰俚语 Smoko

新西兰人喜欢抽烟，虽然这里的烟草税非常非常的高，但是阻挡不住尼古丁为人们带来的快感和闲适。有些时候，完全不抽烟的新西兰人也会跟你说，taking smoko，那么，他们是想跟你去抽根烟吗？

错啦，被新西兰的俚语“骗了”。

虽然 smoke 发音很像 smoko ，但是完全是两回事儿。Taking smoko 指的就是工作、或者经过一段时间的忙碌后的“茶歇”时间，也就是 Tea time / Tea break。例如，正常的8小时工作制中雇主都会给雇员每天各一次的上午茶和下午茶时间，通常为10-15分钟，这两个 tea time 是带薪的啦\~

下次记得啦，您工作中的同事、或者您的朋友跟您说 taking smoko / sitting down for smoko / having smoko 的时候，可别兴冲冲的拿根烟就跟着别人往外走哦，人家可不一定说是要跟您去吞云吐雾的\~\~当然了，确实是爱抽烟的才爱说这个\~\~
