# 奥克兰市议会低调新建十八个公园，免费向公众开放

今天（2018年8月14日）奥克兰市议会环境与社区委员会提交的一份报告概述了在上个财年中，奥克兰市议会耗资4370万纽币为市民购买新公园和开放空间的相关事项。奥克兰市议会预计将会耗资2970万新西兰元，购买总面积约为9.5公顷的13个新公园和公共开放空间。另外，还有1400万新西兰元用于完成购买奥克兰西北部新建城镇豪布森威尔 Hobsonville 的运动场以及 Monte Cecilia Park。

除了购买的新公园和开放空间外，市议会还获得了另外6个不需要花费纳税人税金即可得到的新的公园和开放空间，包括毛利部落 Ngāti Manuhiri 赠送的 Te Arai South 的180公顷土地。就在今天，奥克兰议会环境与社区委员会正式公开了该捐赠行为，并举行仪式表彰 Ngāti Manuhiri 部落为全体奥克兰居民提供的“特别礼物”。

在新增公共空间的同时，奥克兰市议会还选择关闭少数的没有提供服务的公园和开放空间，以降低维护成本。
