# 新西兰的Postgraduate diploma和Master有什么区别？

新西兰有一个中国大陆的教育体系中没有的学位制度，也就是所谓的“学士后学位”Postgraduate diploma，简称为PGD。由于新西兰的学士后学位也“挺难读”的，而且学习的课程与材料与同专业的硕士Master并无什么区别，所以很多朋友希望了解新西兰的学士后学位与硕士学位到底有什么区别。

用一句话来说，Postgraduate Diploma与Master就差在一篇论文上，有论文就是硕士、若是没能进入到论文阶段，那么就是学士后。在新西兰的NZQA学历认证级别上，学士后是8级Level 8，硕士是9级Level 9，博士是10级Level 10。

亦或者从另一个方面来解释，Diploma是一个结业证书，等同于“学历”，能够证明的是你在新西兰学习的这个过程。而Master则是“学位”，不仅证明了学习的过程，而且还能够证明持有人在学习后得到了相应的认证级别。

Post Graduate Diploma的另一种翻译方法为“研究生文凭”。但请注意，有部分用人单位不认可PGD为等同研究生水平教育的证书。
